Department of Technical Support to Research ('STAR')

The Department of Technical Support to Research ('STAR') has its own human and technical means to realise prototypes. It includes an engineering and design department , a mechanical workshop, a welding workshop, and an electrical workshop.

The design by 3D parameter settings coupled to a machine with numerical control allows making in the laboratory very tricky pieces, and the whole set of machines allows making mechanical sets of any scale.

The Department is also in charge of maintaining the buildings and parks, of the servicing and cleanliness, of the management of vehicles, and of the reception and the guarding of the laboratory.
